Who is Holly? Holly is superwoman. She went from summer associate at Weil Gotshal to a partner there, spending 20+ years at one big law firm. That’s not easy for anyone, let alone a minority female. She tells us how she rose through the ranks, the adversities she faced along the way, and why she decided to leave big law for another adventure. Holly was GC and Chief Compliance Officer at KServicing Co., working alongside Laquisha Milner. Recently, Holly took on the role of VP and GC of Caribbean CAGE LLC. In her “spare” time, Holly is a mom, friend and mentor. Her passion is netconnecting women of color. She has taken this passion to a new level through Loiseau Luxe Travels, which strives to plan intimate wellness and professional retreats for women of color at the C-Suite level. We were so lucky to have Holly on Athena Rising and hope you enjoy her words of wisdom!
Who is Laquisha? Laquisha is not a lawyer… and that’s why we loved having her on! She is a management consultant, corporate executive and entrepreneur. We loved hearing about how she entered the tech space – no easy feat as a black woman. Moreover, she’s owned her journey and is the CEO of KServicing Co. She talks to us about her own journey to the top and what it means to be a strong black woman in the tech space and leading a company. Laquisha also tells us what we lawyers “get wrong” about business – and how we can better serve our clients if we do “get it”!
