EPISODE 1: DAVID MARKUS
Season 2 is finally here! As some of you know, Season 2 was due to launch in January 2024. Our podcast launched in March 2023 and we were quite fortunate to have a full season (14 episodes!) air between March 2023 and January 2024. If you have not listened to Season 1, we highly encourage you to do so and learn more about the amazing, badass women in law that were featured!
In January 2024, we had a lot of heavy hitters, personally and professionally (welcome to the balancing act that is full-time lawyering and parenting, folks!). Large, time-sensitive investigations and matters, along with sick kiddos and busy schedules, delayed the release of Season 2 and now drives our need to recruit a podcast manager! If you’re in for this part time gig, let us know.
But, the show must go on and so it does now! We are 100% BACK IN ACTION and releasing Season 2, Episode 1. Our guest for this episode needs no introduction really. If you are a trial lawyer, you know who David Markus is. He is undoubtedly one of the best trial attorneys in the country. David is also well-known for founding and running the source of all “sizzling” information in the SDFL via the Southern District of Florida Blog (sdfla.blogspot.com) and hosts his own successful podcast, For the Defense with David Oscar Markus on Apple Podcasts. But what you learn about David on our show is not just David the trial attorney, blogger and podcaster… you learn that he is the ultimate Girl Dad, ally to hardworking women, and an all-around great guy!
